As an east coast native, it’s very easy to talk about my hometown of Williamsburg, Virginia. Modern America owes a debt of thanks to Williamsburg. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and countless other revolutionaries walked these historic streets in the 1700’s. As for me, this town was a living field trip as a child, a foundation of growth as a teen, an a proud reminder of my own heritage from slavery to prosperity.
