Belize is wonderful nation which considers itself part of the Caribbean and of Central America. Among other things, the country is known for its hospitality, water sports and eco tourism. The Belize Barrier reef is an internationally known tourist destination. With pristine waters and exceptional marine life, the second largest reef system in the world is a must bucket list event for divers. As for me, I enjoy the people, food, relaxed atmosphere and the rich ties to the former Mayan Empire. It’s my favorite destination.

When I visit, San Pedro is often my home base. Located on Ambergris Caye, San Pedro is the largest town of all the islands. Here, you can find an assortment of restaurants and watering holes. North and South of San Pedro, you can find 5 star resorts. In town, quaint B&B’s and smaller hotels. I enjoy being close to the real people and thus I stay in town.
