From the Golden Gate Bridge, Crissy Field, the Embarcadero, cable cars and Union Square, San Francisco is a repeat visit for me. I’ve always thought of the Bay area as a larger version of Austin: eclectic & intelligent. The city has endured earthquakes, fires, and having a historic prison for all to see. When I last visited, I toured old military fortifications, a historic Catholic church and a wonderful farmer’s market. If you see a flight deal, jump on it and go! I’m already looking forward to my next adventure there.
